You can download it from condor-club.eu or gliderracing.com

Re: Logan, Utah Scenery

Big area. Grand Teton to Mt. Timpanagos, Wendover to Vernal. Mostly standard Condor resolution except around a few active gliderports. Based on hand tweaked pan-sharpened Landsat images.

Re: Condor locks up everytime on MNS west but not on other races

Does your problem correlate with the scenery used? Seems more likely its the scenery MNS is using that is giving you trouble. BC 1.01 uses high res textures which might be giving your 256 MB graphics card some trouble. I redid the textures for BC for my own use at the standard condor 512x512 dds til...

You can look at EasternAlps 2 as a mainstream example of a scenery built with a non-square grid. It works fine, but distances don't translate well between Condor and RL. I would just resample your data onto a 90m UTM grid. I know the GDAL tools can do that, but I don't know GlobalMapper or other too...

The short answer is that Condor (v1) appears optimized for a 90 m UTM terrain grid. At least using the CST for generating the terrain grid.

If you feed CST a 90m spacing UTM grid, you will get good results.

The latest revision also solved my problem noted earlier in this thread with DSHelper being unable to stop or close the CDS. Thank you! :D

May not belong in this thread but DSHelper can no longer stop a task or close a CDServer on my system. Worked fine for a long time then stopped working right sometime last spring. It times out waiting for the CDServer to respond. The CDServer gets the command and pops up a Confirm dialog box waiting...

Had a little hiccup with the Training day. My server kicked me off and I also fouled up the fpl so Condor-Club wouldn't post scores, so here they are. Weather was a little weak, but speeds for the finishers were still pretty good. Should see a little improvement in weather through the rest of the ra...

The jury will be busy after day 42. Top finisher started on 2 servers? None of the US time zone servers ever started (very early and very late)? Still a fun flight, all alone. My 4 server-mates started after me and landed early on first leg. I climbed to 3100 m before TP1 in ridge lift and once more...
