Re: Stuttering / choppy graphics in Arc Alpin

The easiest fix I found for this is on the PDA, option 1, press 1 again to turn off the map and just leave the task markers, so it has a solid color background. Then use something like XCSoar to view the map.

Re: Free Flying

I see these two at the moment:

~ FREEFLY ~ Austria 2.0 Austria2 - 2.0
~ FREEFLY ~ Czech republic 2.0 Czech - 2.0

I know they work with both the SD and HD versions of the sceneries.

Re: New To Flight - Can I train?

While you search for that thread, there are some lessons in Condor that are good for beginners. I know I sure used them. Also search the web for some tutorials (I have a bunch bookmarked that I've found).

Re: California Scenery is on Condor Club

There I was, flying along in a Tchin Tchin race when I got the dreaded out of memory error. The last few lines of errorlog.txt: Landscape refresh start at 11:50:35 AM. Landscape refresh stopped at 11:50:36 AM. NetPlayer disconnected: A.Corlier. Landscape refresh start at 11:57:32 AM. Landscape refre...

Re: Condor's lack of time acceleration feature

From what I see (I've had Condor now for a few months), everything is in real time. Well, except analyzing your flight, and that can be played back up to 64x -- a 2-D map and a barograph. There's one scenery where, as you fly along using ridge lift, looking down, there are paragliders flying (Bex ==...

Re: Using XCSoar for Android with Condor over Wifi: Setup Guide

Thanks. Took me a bit to get Condor2Nav working on the PC. Seems AA wasn't in the .csv file (I just added it).

Re: Using XCSoar for Android with Condor over Wifi: Setup Guide

Though I'm not using Wine to run Condor, this is what I do to use XCSoar on a tablet with Condor. 1) Download and configure VSPE ( http://www.eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html ). The 32-bit version works for this Two things to configure in it. First, create a virtual com port (I use COM2:). Then add ...

High Flight

Many of you have probably heard this poem, though I suspect many have not. I remember a Denver, Colorado, TV station many years ago would end it's day with a flying video with a voice-over of the poem High Flight. "Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth, And danced the skies on laughter-si...

Re: Condor GP 2017

One of the contestants was showing it live on Twicth. It was a joy to watch. Gives me ideas of what to do while I fly in the US Nightly race (I have a dismal record of completing only 4 of 7 I've entered).

I had no problems downloading and installing it.

Which reminds me - I forgot to install the patch. Doing that now.
