Re: MNS Europe 2012

I was 3rd on my server today and forgot to deliver my flighttrack. Will do tomorrow if neccesary, but I think not as there was a huge gap between me and 2nd on my server.
Thanks for the race tonight, and to F9 for an awsome task!

Cheers!

Re: Pre-European Gliding Championships 2012 (Vinon - France)

Condor crashed..
Does this mean I have shitloads of penalties now? Because condor.exe crashed? I was at 1500m at the moment, climbing a thermal. I do have the FRT(delivered) as proof.
I also have my errorlog, which is added to this post in a .zip.

Kriss(K3)

Re: ~Up Cu ~ CCSC (June 2012)

Sounds like some good fun after a day flying in the sun or (sort of) studying. :) What do you mean by "avoid mid-air crashes"? Do you mean that you get penalized for an unintentional mid-air? I think most Condorpilots wants to avoid mid-airs, but it happens much more frequently in Condor. ...

Don't take it personal. Just pointing out there are easier ways to go around then changing cfg's and trying to change the simulator to behave in a different manner..

Re: Wing SNAP --------

But thats 'aerobatics', Kriss. Isn’t that too much fun and out of bounds for Condor's strict adherence to XC and comps? No, because the same way they made a schoolglider, Condor Team also made an aerobatics glider and added some features for aerobatics flying. Use the wrench as a wrench and Condor ...

Re: Wing SNAP --------

You can probably use Condor as a sightseeing sim the same way you can use a wrench as a hammer. Condor was made for XC and comps, but it's possible to do some basic training and sightseeing as well. Why can't you just use the Q button to "mend" the broken wing? It's just as artificial as m...

Re: Mandatory Drugs Testing for Condor competitors ....

I find drugtesting to be waaay over the top for a simulator. :P But it might just save your virtual life. "Glide Distance: Half the distance from the airplane to the nearest landing field.". — The Second Law of Soaring :) I usually do use these rules when flying Condor. I fly like I do in...

Re: Mandatory Drugs Testing for Condor competitors ....

As far as I understand, I can drink Cola in the real skies if it suits me well as it's not concidered a drug. Personally I never fly Condor under the influence of alcohol as it doesn't feel right or make too much sence to me. Anyway, I find drugtesting to be waaay over the top for a simulator. I act...

Re: Time Acceleration

I personally wouldnt call the lack of a Save function a 'small' detail. Many support the idea of such a labour saving option, including yourself. I do agree with you, but I understand it that developers have to prioritize. Condor lacks a good wave model and can't simulate fronts, over development a...

Re: Time Acceleration

Guys, I've bought Condor. I only intend to fly Single Player, so personally I don’t care about any risk of cheating in multiplayer, or how a hacker might hi-jack the game. Regardless of this discussion, you should rethink your views upon this. If the online community of Condor was destroyed by chea...
