A lot of contributors spend time in the "Development" section of the forum. There you'll find a lot of discussion on designing planes, sceneries, and props, which may or may not be utilized in Condor 2. If beta is just around the corner, I would guess that it's already too late to contribute to its initial release.

Correct - we have everything we need already.

But if you have modelling ability, we always like new planes. You have to be good though !

I think you are being optimistic....

It could be a lot scarier than that....

100% agree with Tom. Modeling a plane for Condor is pretty hard ! There are many "wip" planes in the forum, few of them made the cut.
100% accuracy is the minimum, try around 200% accuracy to be at OXO's level :) ;)

But in the end, isn't it one of the reason we can enjoy Condor ?!

All previously submitted plane models ( ASK21 etc) which didnt make it into V1 will have to be remade if we want them because V2 allows many more vertices and its near impossible to add vertices to an existing model. I have no submitted planes in progress at all, the only planes are the ones Ben and I are making.

And they are Goood :)

Re:planes
"...All previously submitted plane models ( ASK21 etc) which didnt make it into V1 will have to be remade..." ; so gliders which were in V1 will be in V2?

I think it is important that a minimum of one glider in each class be in the baseline Condor; I'll buy plane packs, of course; but being able to compete in Monday Night Soaring or US Nightly Soaring with rotating classes should be accessible to all who buy it (personal opinion).

It's great to hear that Condor is in alpha - beta.

Hi Dan,

Yes it's a problem, but all should be ok. Ben and I are doing the add-on "Plane Pack" planes now.

Hmm ? You are working on the add-ons while there is no stable version of C2 ? That'a a little bit weird to me, but anyway, you know better
Is there any list with the planes of c2 or the add-ons ?

It seems that OXO's part in the development is to do the planes. If so one could assume - (I don't have inside info) that if he is working on add ons, the the base product planes might just be done. An indication of progress maybe? Has OXO just inadvertently let some progress info slip:)
Always look on the bright side of life!
