Condor in 3D with NVidia 3D vision with DX7 to DX11 wrapper

Postby HornetSk » Sat Oct 31, 2015 10:30 pm

Hi to all.

for years there was problem with Condor in stereoscopic 3D with newer hardware and Condor was not working with Nvidia 3D vision (DX7 games are generally not supported in 3D with it).

BUT CONDOR CAN WORK in 3D stereoscopy with 3D vision NOW !!!!!! (this will be important for Oculus Rift support too)

It exist DX7 to DX11 wrapper (which is emulating old card ) and as you see Condor recognise this emulated card (you can choose normal card or emulated in wrapper) there are added some dlls and it is (needed is enabling of Nvidia 3D vision - here only in demo color coded 3D, but it will be working with n vidia 3D glasses too and hope too in side to side format with Nvidia 3DTV software. Some info here:

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topi ... 3d-vision/

Wrapper version 2.45 is here: http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2.html

First run wrapper setup exe, then installed Condor (then the virtual card is recognised)
Condor is amazing in 3D, you can believe me.

Do you happen to have a bigger than 2048px display? I am curious if with the wrapper the DX7 limit is gone, and don't want to spend a lot just to test it :)
I tried with two monitors but dgVoodoo2 only works with one.

Just remembered that i have a 4K tv, the good part is that it works in any resolution.
The bad part is that internally it seems that still maximum 2048 is used, and then stretched to the actual resolution on screen, at a very high FPS loss and no quality improvement (16ps in 4k with wrapper,120fps fullHD without wrapper).

When you press some info button on your TV remote then it should show you the actual resolution on the TV input channel. At least, you would see whether the up-sampling is done by the TV or the graphics card.

In 3D full HD fps was good on my PC (780 Ti). I think the limit of DX7 (max 2048x2048) is still here.I am waiting for new version of VIREIO Perception drivers for Oculus rift with support for DX11 - hope it will work with this wrapper...we will see.
Condor in 4K would be nice...in 3D it is definitely

Hi neroni,

this is free 3D Vision Discover mode , you can use it with cheap blue/red glasses. For use with 3D TV is needed "IR emiter from NVidia 3D vision glasses (minimally during installation) for example emitter is here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NVIDIA-3D-Stere ... 1718043812

and then you have to test (and then buy) this software: 3DTV Play

http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-overview.html

Then it works with 3D glasses from 3D TV. Hope it helps
